As vessels, our lives are filled with many different mixtures. Health, happiness, passion, strength, faith, trust, intelligence, wisdom, humility, judgment. All there but in different proportions. As our needs change, so does the recipe.

Where forces interact, concentrated with extreme passion, tested by elements of pride, envy, and self-doubt, lies the crucible within us. A vessel waiting to be re-formed. Until we are empty, we cannot be.  

Dreams surface deep feelings, fears, or longings we are unwilling to express in the light of the day.  Hidden in the darkness, our subconscious runs wild churning up crazy anxieties. Relief comes knowing it is just a dream.

We all have edges, places where challenges meet limitations. Some days we push limits; others we give in to them. The keys to honing sharp edges are focus, commitment, persistence, and the core belief that you can do it.

My body no longer moves easily. The effects of age humble me to accept unwelcome limitations. Adaptation and compromise replace pushing of boundaries…yet there is gentle grace in the new normal.
