The Calm Before the Storm

No
swarming
crowds on the
wide boardwalk and
queues nonexistent
at favorite night spots.
The calm, lazy pace relaxed
but ephemeral… as workers
scramble to prepare for the teeming
onslaught of seasonal sun seekers.
