Glad Tidings

Angels delivered glad tidings from God.
Amidst humble beginnings will be
born a savior of the whole world.
Thousands of years later we
celebrate his birth and
wait for his return.
Ever yearning,
we seek the
child of

“O holy Child of Bethlehem, descend to us, we pray; cast our our sin and enter in, be born in us today.  We hear the Christmas angels the great glad tidings tell; O come to us, abide in us, our Lord Emmanuel!”  Hymn 79
