Alone.
Peace and quiet
for some people, yet for
others, it can be sheer torture.
Being comfortable in your own skin
is good, loneliness is painful.
As a person of faith,
you are never
alone.

Alone.
Peace and quiet
for some people, yet for
others, it can be sheer torture.
Being comfortable in your own skin
is good, loneliness is painful.
As a person of faith,
you are never
alone.
We
all need
help at times
in our lives and
asking can be hard.
It is a privilege
to be able to render
love and support in times of need.
We pray that we are worthy to serve,
never overlooking those among us.
We
often
chose to live
our lives for the
purposes of others.
Ultimately, we must
walk the way for just ourselves.
God sends us who and what we need
for our pilgrimage to discover
the path that will fulfill our destiny.
Music
uplifts spirits
and unifies us all
in ways that mere words cannot do.
Lyrics are poetry, telling stories
woven in rhythmic melodies,
making us feel the words.
The language of
music.
God’s peace
is always there,
in times of happiness
as well as in waves of sadness.
It is knowing when we are in peril
that all we have to do is seek
and we will be granted
without asking…
God’s peace.
World peace
is elusive.
Politics dividing
foes as well as former allies.
Technological warfare rising to
apocalyptic proportions.
Humane issues lost in
the demise of
world peace.
My
list keeps
getting longer.
It seems endless.
The more I get done
there should be less to do,
but my mind keeps adding more
until the list overwhelms me.
Then I shut down and nothing gets done.
The learning is in doing, not the list.
We
are so
connected
that we can be
overwhelmed, thereby
being disconnected
from really recognizing
the thoughts and feelings of others.
To be truly engaged with others,
we must disengage from the distractions.
Grief
is a
natural
reaction to
loss of a loved one.
Let it wash over you,
feel the waves of emotion,
wrap your arms around memories,
but then let go of pain and sorrow…
remembering the love you have received.
The
light at
the end of
the tunnel is
visible, glimpsed for
just a fleeting moment,
then suddenly obscured by
some unexpected twists and turns.
Have faith knowing that the light is there.
You don’t have to see to believe in it.
